Interconnected small power plants supply energy, robot cars improve traffic flow: This is what the future of cities may be like. No doubt, energy and transport will be of central importance in the future. For both of them, many visions and scenarios exist. They will be discussed during the event “Stadtzukünfte. Zwischen Smart City und Blackout” (Urban futures. Between smart city and blackout) on Thursday, October 29, 2015, 18 hrs, at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) (in German only). The host will be KIT’s Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis (ITAS) (the discussion will take place at ITAS, Karlstraße 11). Representatives of the media and the interested public are cordially invited.
