Drought, food shortage, decreasing biodiversity, imminent starvation crises worldwide: The pressure on land use and food production results in big challenges for agriculture. How can we sustainably produce food while reducing starvation? On Monday, March 27, 2023, 6 pm, this question will be discussed by Professor Urs Niggli, President of the Institute for Agroecology in Switzerland and pioneer of organic agriculture. His keynote speech will open the Spring Academy on Sustainability at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Its program will also include a public forum in the entrance hall of Audimax after the speech and a public panel discussion on Thursday, March 30, 2023, 6 pm.
