Mobility plays an important role for the active participation in social life. At the same time, it is associated with challenges in terms of energy consumption, emissions, and landscape and climate protection. How can mobility and the increasing need for mobility services be implemented equitably and safely for all? How can the negative impacts of this development be reduced significantly? These and other questions will be in the focus of the Spring Academy Sustainability at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from March 18 to 21, 2024. The project week will start with a public keynote and a forum presenting the region’s research activities and projects.
